Jasprit Bumrah, a bowler for the Indian cricket team, and his wife, Sanjana Ganesan, have been given the gift of a son.
Instagram was the platform through which the cricketer broke the news of the announcement. Bumrah has also revealed the name of the child, Angad, in the post that she published.
“Our small family has grown, and our hearts are bigger than we ever could have imagined they could be! Our son, Angad Jasprit Bumrah, was born early this morning, and we are overjoyed to finally meet him. Bumrah accompanied the photo with the statement “We are over the moon and can’t wait for everything this new chapter of our lives brings with it,” which she posted on Instagram.
Bumrah will probably not play in the Asia Cup 2023 match between India and Nepal because it is almost certain that Bumrah would be rested for the match. The first match between India and Pakistan was a complete washout. At Pallekele International Stadium, the Indian batting lineup, notably the likes of Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, and Shubman Gill, was a huge disappointment, especially in light of the fact that Pakistan’s fast bowling trio was dominant.
If India wants to finish first in their group and earn a spot in the Super 4s, they will need to win their match against Nepal by a significant margin.
Congratulations to both the lovely parents!
